🌍 Empowering Communities Through Conflict Resolution – Rukara Sector, Kayonza District
PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda recently facilitated a Conflict Resolution Training in Rukara Sector, Kayonza District, bringing together community members to strengthen peaceful coexistence and enhance reconciliation efforts.
🕊️ This training equipped participants with the tools to identify the root causes of conflicts, resolve disputes through dialogue, and foster understanding in their daily lives. It was a safe space for learning, healing, and empowering individuals to become peace ambassadors within their families and neighborhoods.
The role of this training in the community: ✅ Promotes non-violent communication and mutual respect
✅ Strengthens community bonds by rebuilding trust
✅ Empowers youth and local leaders to take active roles in peacebuilding
✅ Contributes to long-term healing and reconciliation in post-genocide Rwanda
By cultivating a culture of peace, PeacEdu is helping to create communities where unity, empathy, and justice thrive. This effort is part of our broader commitment to Peace Building and Reconciliation, a key pillar of our mission.
We extend our gratitude to all who participated and shared their voices. Real change begins when communities come together with a shared purpose of peace.
